We are a participating provider with United Health Care as well as NYS Empire plans. For all other plans, including Medicare we are considered an out of network provider.
In order to continue providing high quality, individualized care we do not directly bill any other insurances. Instead, we can provide a "superbill" or a detailed receipt that the patient submits to the their insurance company after their visit if they wish to seek direct reimbursement from their insurer. Patients can check their "out of network" benefits to see if they have coverage and what their reimbursement rates will be.
